Can I customize the catering menu?

Absolutely! We offer a range of customizable options for catering orders. You can discuss your preferences and dietary requirements with our catering team to create a personalized menu. When in doubt - call us and ask!

What catering/delivery services do you offer for events?

Most of the catering orders placed at the tea room are for in-home parties and office lunch/meetings and therefore are for pick-up only. We can accommodate larger events (training, seminars, larger parties) with delivery within a 10-mile driving distance (negotiable depending on the size of the order) $300 minimum and a $50 delivery fee will be added to your order. Delivery is available Monday - Friday 11 am - 4:30 pm. This does not include utensils, plates, cups, tiers, or set-up.

If you would like service staff to accompany your McHugh Tea Room delivery order on a Monday-Thursday, please contact us for availability. A $50/hour/server charge will be added (minimum 3 hours includes 1-hr set up, minimum 1-hr service, and 1-hr breakdown). This includes set-up, on-site tea brewing, service for the food and tea, break-down, and clean-up. McHugh Tea Room is unable to provide service staff on weekends (Friday-Sunday).

Can I rent teapots and tiers for my event?

Yes! Teapots and tiers can be rented for $5 apiece.

Do you provide plates, napkins, disposable cups, and utensils?

Not at this time.

Payments and Deposits

A deposit of half of the total order is required for McHugh Tea Room to begin to prepare your order. The remaining balance is due upon the pickup date. Any menu additions needed after the deposit will be a separate charge and due in full, at the time of request.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you give McHugh Tea Room a written notice of cancellation of your Catering Agreement more than 1+ week prior to the event date, McHugh Tea Room will agree to cancel the Catering Agreement. McHugh Tea Room will refund any deposit as well as a 4% credit card refund fee imposed by credit card companies. Cancellation requests less than 48 hrs before the pickup date may not be eligible for a refund. Taxes, in addition to the contract price, you will be charged and responsible for paying all applicable state and local taxes. If you are a tax-exempt company, the tax-exempt form must be emailed to info@mchughtea.com with the Catering Agreement prior to deposit.
